catalyst: dl075 – still dancing

Mix recorded live here at the station on 2018 Sep 09 – my 75th show here!

I recently had a chance to both spin tunes & go dancing at a fun event. I was (am) still in a mood for that when I did this set. So it trends a bit more towards danceable music than background deep house.

I note that I got to stand behind the legendary Carl Cox in the DJ booth for some time at the recent event. Watching how he worked the equipment taught me somethings I wasn’t doing before, that I’m now trying to incorporate into my technique. I think I’m better for it.
