16 Years at Dogglounge.

Sixteen years of experiences that go far beyond music: friendship, encounters, and above all, a celebration of life and a refuge in the darkest moments. Yes—at times, with tears in my eyes, opening my mind and my heart to landscapes beyond the stars, to endless beaches, to an eternal summer, through the magic of music. “The House, Popi, The House…,” as my friend Mario would say.

An experience that, through different styles, has allowed me to show a path toward reconnection with oneself—and in that dimension, to connect with others on the island of vibration. House is an spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thing, with a physical plane and a mental plane, making me diving every week into new tracks that carry that spirit, alongside others that have made history.

I try to focus on the styles I love most, without chasing the latest commercial trends of the music industry, and to find meaning and coherence in a world where the virtual side already dominates people’s lives. I have been incredibly fortunate to play live at parties where I could create an atmosphere and make people enjoy themselves without giving up authenticity.

I have not sought fame, money, or glory. And in this life that seems written by Fellini—like those troubled characters at the mercy of the gods’ whims, with love as a compass—I may still long for that companion in my life, like a Bond lady, who keeps her dreams intact and becomes the reason for all those moments: the sensuality, the struggle, the resistance against the waves of life, so that everything makes sense through that primordial energy that allows us to transcend beyond our own existence. But, my friends, at this stage of life, beauty is secondary—though still important—and with the perspective of the years, one learns to read the soul of people, and master Fellini is up there making surrealistic situatiosn with that over me…
