London’s Point Blank Music School has an online Music Machine up and running so if you’re bored at work or want to try making music here you go!  Great for the beginner or the curious, and if you’re serious about making music buy some real software or pirate it on bittorent for god sakes.  Just kidding I don’t endorse pirating software.  *cough*
