catalyst: dl103 – on decks
Recording of live set broadcast 2019-09-08 here at the station. Thanks to all the listeners, and especially those who come into the station chat room during a Sunday evening/night.
This started out as a bunch of songs I knew (vs. a bunch of new tracks), all in the “center” of Dogglounge deep/house. In the last 30 minutes, though, I started feeling like a party. So, it gets a bit more Ibiza-boat-dance-party in the last bit. Interesting how the audience dropped by 15% pretty quickly once I switched – then built back up beyond the start. Looks like it was a case of audience changeout – people who wanted Deep House dropping off, and people who were ok with more bumpin’ stuff staying when came to listen. So, all good!
