Music Therapy – Recordar

I took this photograph while riding on a double decker tourist bus in the streets of Barcelona, Spain in 2016.
A bunch of my Scottish pals were making the yearly track to Sonar festival, and I figured what the heck, another country off the bucket list so off I went to party in Barcelona with a group of Glaswegians. Of course it was messy! this wee Canadian could not keep up 😉 I think I fell in love with the city, more than I did with the festival, tbh I missed most of the festival lol, but I had a blast!

Sometimes when I am behind my turntables and I am feeling a track, I get flashes of places I have traveled to, or situations I have been in that brought me happiness and inspiration. This photograph came to mind when I was making this mix. I hope you enjoy!
