VOODOO LOPEZ – RIVER SIDE

After a Easter trip to Lisbon, mostly for work and meetings, no nightlife (we’d got trapped at home), but with enough time to enjoy again the strong energy of Lisbon, that surprise me every time we come back.

Rediscover again Alcántara área, after all those years from Beto Perino’s “Paradise Garage” after parties,  early 2000, with all this life that explodes in art every corner. LX Factory it’s a must. I had a nice business lunch in A Praça restaurant and get shocked for the amazing selection of music in the place. No dj, just track list done by the employees. So again, the city show me the pulse, and in the deep of this vibe, this city is a mix between Detroit, San Francisco and NY, but mixed with respect to the roots the traditional portuguese legacy. An example when electronic scene has his own places and it’s part of the culture of the city. A work that need be  respected from all the portuguse Dj’s and professionals to create real culture and keep always puting the levels of underground scene always on top.

So much thanks, Jonas, you rock it again !

And an specially big hug to Jemaho for the new heir to the throne. Congrats, master.
